Channing Hofman moved to Albuquerque from New York City in 2015 to pursue a Masters in Community and Regional Planning from the University of New Mexico. His passion for equitable economic and community development inspired his Master's professional project which focused on a cooperative of local flower growers and provided research to further support the cooperative's growth. In his career, Channing has worked for the Mid-Region Council of Governments and the NM Economic Development Department where he works with communities across the state in their community development efforts.
