Native Southwesterner. Education: Illinois Institute of Technology, BS in City and Regional Planning; University of Illinois, Master of Landscape Architecture.  Enjoyed a 35-year career at University of Chicago as the campus landscape architect, overseeing development of the campus as a botanic garden and managing the University’s Planned Development Agreement with the City of Chicago. Served on Mayor of Chicago’s Streetscape and Parks Advisory Committees. Chaired Flossmoor Public Art Commission. Fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects. Upon retirement in 2019, headed back home to New Mexico.  Currently serving on KAB Board and NMASLA Board as Trustee.
